The Library by Joyce Fay Fletcher is the winner of the 2011 Silver Medal for Mid-Atlantic Regional Fiction in the Independent Publisher Book Competition. The IP Book Competition defines the Mid-Atlantic Region as Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia, and New Jersey. The awards ceremony will take place on Monday, May 23rd in New York City.
The Library is also included on Detroit Public Library’s “2011 African American Booklist.”
